Garden ready!

I have really enjoyed my time on the YATES Garden Challenge this year. It is fantastic to have so many like minded people get together.

I have learnt a heap of new things and there has been some awesome ideas that I will be taking to try in my garden.

I will really miss reading about how everyone is going but will be looking forward to next years Challenge.

Today in the garden I have been using my YATES EASY PODS to fertilize my TOMATOES, CAPSICUMS, CHILLIES, EGGPLANT and PUPMKINS.  These little pods really do make it easy, you just pop one on your 9L watering can, fill with water and the outer casing and powder disolves and you water your plant, cant get any easier than that.

Before I go I just wanted to let you know that last night when I went out to water the garden I was absolutely over the moon so see that after 13 or 14 attempts (I stopped counting) I have finally had success with CARROTS. They say insanity is doing the exact same thing over and over and expecting different results, well this time instead of making a row and then filling it in with my soil (which I think was drying out too fast) I just sowed the seeds and then covered them with potting mix, this seems to have done the trick.

I was determined to grow CARROTS and very glad I kept trying. Just because you failed once or even 13 times, doesnt mean it cant be done and you should give up. ALWAYS GET UP AND TRY AGAIN

I cant wait to see you all again next year. Good luck everyone and thanks for everything. May your gardens grow and bring you loads of joy and fresh food.

Merry Christmas!!!!
