Beans Dwarf 'Top Crop'

An early maturing variety, producing abundant quantities of medium sized round pods. These stringless beans are suitable for fresh or freezing, and are resistant to Common Bean Mosaic.

Position

Full sun.

Sow

Warm soils are essential for beans. Sow directly into garden previously worked with Yates Hauraki Peat to improve drainage. Moisten soil at sowing but do not water until seedlings appear. Add Yates Thrive All Purpose Fertiliser before planting.

Care

Give regular applications of Yates Thrive Soluble Fertiliser during growth. Protect emerging seedlings from slugs and snails with Yates Blitzem. Control leaf blight with Bravo; aphids and white fly with Target. Pick young beans regularly to promote heavier cropping. Water well in dry conditions.
