Medicinal 'Chamomile'

Pretty daisy flowers on a low-growing plant with ferny foliage. Not only a soothing and gentle relaxant, chamomile can grow a pleasant apple-scented lawn.

Full sun or light shade.

Direct where it is to grow. Cultivate to soften soil and mix in some fine organic matter and blood and bone.

Grow plants in garden beds where leaves can be harvested or as a lawn substitute. Occasional mowing at a high setting will encourage plants to spread sideways. Uses: Infuse flower heads in hot water to make a tea that can be used to relieve morning sickness, colic, stress and pain.
