Yates Shield

Controls pests and diseases on roses and ornamentals in the home garden. It controls a wide range of pests including aphids and caterpillars and diseases including black spot, rust and powdery mildew.

How It Works

Both the insecticide and the fungicide in Shield are systemic. This means they are able to move within the plant’s sap stream, enabling them to control pests and diseases that may not have been contacted by spray.


45g/litre acephate and 8.8g/litre myclobutanil in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate.

Directions for use

Mix 5ml per litre of water. Spray plants at 2 week intervals during active growth. For Downy mildew control use with Yates Bravo.
